Perpetual student, long-time yoga practitioner, lover of philosophy, science & nature.

Why atLife?

The idea of atLife sprang out of wanting to explore the understanding that we’re all here together, evolving, learning, sharing & practicing this random journey of life!

It’s not about having all the answers. It’s about stepping out & embracing this journey called life & seeing where the adventure takes us.

So this is myLife, yourLife, ourLife... atLife!

Holism is something I strongly believe in. It is the key to a fulfilling, happy & healthy life.

Here atLife I have pulled together natural medicine, yoga & a sense of connection to yourself & community.

Natural medicine is my evolving passion.

Combining my own health experience and 22+ years working in healthcare, I can now share this knowledge with others, providing a safe & supportive environment for people to find autonomy, sustainability & confidence with their own health journey.

Movement has always provided me time for reflection and contemplation. A space to cultivate some resilience in this fast paced & sometimes challenging world. A place where I can just be present in the moment.

YOGA has brought me back to my centre and returned my love of movement, mindfulness & balance atLife.

It’s 2002

I’ve been teaching ballet & contemporary dance a few years, working in childcare & pregnant with my second child. I decide I need a more stable career and start down the road of becoming a Registered Nurse (wow, that seems like a long time ago).

I always loved the caring role & nursing was a natural progression. I specialised, I took on post-grad studies & loved my job.

Then at the end of 2017 I got really sick, the lowest point of a slow, downward spiral. I was struggling to even speak above a monotone & felt chronically fatigued, brain-fogged, in pain & dreadful in nearly every way.

I took on the challenge of finding answers & discovered an autoimmune condition was playing havoc with pretty much every function of my body!

OK, so now I knew … I did what the Dr said, but modern medicine was only getting me so far towards wellness. I scampered down another road and LOW & BEHOLD I stumbled on the wonders of NATURAL MEDICINE.

WHY HAD NO ONE TOLD ME BEFORE ??!!

I made changes to my diet & lifestyle and utilised the knowledge of some amazing Natural Health Professionals to find nutrients & herbal prescriptions that supported my needs.

Long story short… I GOT BETTER, MY VITALITY RETURNED, I HAD MY LIFE BACK!

And that INSPIRED me.

I wanted to learn more so I spent months & months searching for the right move & decided I wanted to become a NATUROPATH. So in pursuit of safe, ethical practice & quality evidence, I began a full 4 year Bachelor of Health Science in Natural Medicine with Endeavour College of Natural Health … & HERE I AM.

I’m incredibly grateful & happy to be here, atLife with you.
